Treat your class to an unforgettable Fall field trip at the Fresno-Madera Pumpkin Patch! We offer the largest pick-your-own patch in the area and one of the only farms that welcomes students to the farm. Our convenient location on Hwy 99 & Ave 7, just one exit north of Herndon Ave, means we are just a short drive from most schools in Fresno or Madera County. Your students will have an educational AND fun-filled farm experience, while teachers, parents and chaperons will appreciate our well-organized program.

Field Trip Description – Once you arrive, your school bus will be greeted in our parking lot and directed where to park. You will then be welcomed by our friendly staff who will lead your group to our check-in area. Once your entire group is ready, your Farm School teacher will lead your class to their classroom in the corn. There, the students will learn about how pumpkins grow, their history and their many uses. Next, it’s off to the wagons for a leisurely wagon ride around the farm. Upon your return, your group will be challenged as you navigate your way through a mini corn maze, designed with the little ones in mind. Once you conquer the maze, you will be ready to head out to the field to pick the perfect pumpkin. Pumpkin Patch field Trips have never been THIS much fun!

Nearly 100 picnic tables are available on a “first come, first served” basis for snacks or lunch. Wheel barrows are provided to help move your prized pumpkins from the field to the school bus. Our “Kountry Kaffe” will have snacks and cold drinks available for purchase and our “General Store” will have a wide variety of inexpensive novelties, pumpkin carving kits, glow sticks, and much, much more! Please keep in mind that our new farm does not have any shade trees or tents to keep the kids out of the sun – we recommend bringing sun screen on warm sunny days.

Admission Fee – Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

  • $7 per person
  • Note to Teachers – all students, parents, chaperones, siblings, etc will be charged the Admission Fee. All paid guests are encouraged to participate in the field trip experience and pick a pumpkin to take home.
  • One teacher FREE per 20 students
  • Children 1 yr & younger are FREE
  • Minimum fee is $140

With no more than 5 minutes of your time – 24 hrs per day – you can make a reservation for a fun-filled, pumpkin pickin’ experience for your students and their families.

NOTE TO TEACHERS – a credit card will be needed to make your reservation, however THE CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED unless you choose it as your method of payment on the day of your field trip. A $100 Cancellation Fee will be charged to your card if you do not cancel your reservation with a minimum of 48 hrs notice.

Teachers will receive an email confirmation and details of their field trip after completion of reservation.
